Spring has Sprung!

2010-3-AzaleaSpring has Sprung!!

Spring is a busy time of year for us in the greater Wilmington area. There are loads of events that make it hard to do it all! But that’s what’s so great about this area- it’s so diverse that there is something for everyone to enjoy.

One of the biggest area happenings, Azalea Festival, is fast approaching and offers numerous events to partake in- Garden Tour, parade (with Azalea Queen Lindsey Shaw from ABC television show “10 Things I Hate about You”), the street festival, a Cake Challenge (new this year), music concerts (Goo Goo Dolls), a horse show and much more. The Historic home tour is a highlight on our list and a great way see the architectural heritage of the Lower Cape Fear region.

Here is a sampling of events to help plan your spring. If you don’t live in the area then come see us!!  Plan your visit around one of the areas many festivals and annual events. And remember to visit Intracoastal’s Open House calendar to see some great properties our agents will be hosting this spring.
