Intracoastal Realty to Open New Office

Intracoastal Realty and Williamson Realty Form Alliance on Ocean Isle Beach

Intracoastal Realty To Open 3,200 Square Foot Sales Office on Ocean Isle

Williamson Realty, a real estate sales and vacation rental business owned by the Williamson family, has been successfully selling, developing, and renting real estate on Ocean Isle Beach for more than 35 years. Williamson Realty has formed a strategic alliance with Intracoastal Realty to focus on residential sales both on and off the island.

“Intracoastal Realty is the leading regional brand in real estate sales and Williamson Realty is one of Ocean Isle Beach’s premier vacation rental property management companies,” said Frank Williamson, vice president and broker-in-charge of Williamson Realty. “By aligning Intracoastal’s strength in sales with our expertise in vacation rentals, we can now provide customers with a full array of real estate services. This is a win-win for Intracoastal Realty and Williamson Realty, but the people who will benefit most are Ocean Isle buyers, sellers and tourists.”

Williamson Realty was established in 1979 by Betty Williamson, Frank’s mother. As company president, Betty has been instrumental in both the business and the local community, and remains an active voice in the business today.      Ocean Isle Beach has developed into a popular destination for homeowners and vacationers who enjoy its seven miles of pristine beaches and convenient location between Wilmington and Myrtle Beach.

“We are proud to align our company with such well-respected business leaders as Betty and Frank Williamson,” said Jim Wallace, CEO of Intracoastal Realty. “They have been instrumental in the growth and success of Ocean Isle Beach and we look forward to a long and successful relationship with the Williamson family.”

As the region’s real estate market continues to rebound, sales and rentals on Ocean Isle Beach are also strengthening. Occupancy rates for Williamson Realty’s vacation rentals grew by more than 10 percent this season.

Williamson Realty is headquartered in a 6,400 square foot building at 119 Causeway in Ocean Isle Beach. Intracoastal Realty is leasing the 3,200 square foot 2nd floor to house its new sales office, which it plans to open on Tuesday, September 3. Intracoastal Realty plans to add new agents shortly after its opening.

In addition to vacation rentals, Williamson Realty has developed more than 300 residential properties on Ocean Isle Beach and the surrounding area, with its flagship development being the Island Park community at the west end of Ocean Isle.

Established in 1976, Intracoastal Realty is the largest independent and locally owned and operated real estate brokerage firm in southeastern North Carolina. Services include real estate brokerage, property management, relocation services and new homes marketing. Intracoastal Realty operates nine offices in Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, Brunswick County and Topsail Beach.
