Ashley Garner was installed as the President of the Wilmington MLS on Friday night’s Installation Banquet. We look forward to his term and leadership.

Phillip Galloway – 2011 Hall of Fame Award
The Hall of Fame award honors outstanding lifetime contributions by individuals within our industry who have contributed consistent outstanding service to our profession in the areas of development, environment or government and/or leadership that have an enduring effect upon the real estate profession.
Phillip has served our real estate community for decades and will celebrate his 40th anniversary with WRAR next month. During that time, he has served on some of our board’s most important committees; Professional Standards, Task Force for Agency Change, Professional Development, Continuing Education, and Strategic Planning to name a few. Phillip has served as an elected member of on our Board of Directors as well as the Executive Roundtable. His knowledge and common sense have led the board and served our members well. He has led the charge to encourage agent involvement with WRAR within our company and our community.
As a teacher of Real Estate Fundamentals, Continuing Education classes, Broker classes, and Broker-in-Charge classes, Phillip has touched Realtors® at every level of our industry. His caring for our high ethics and best practices always comes through in the classroom. His personal contact with leaders at the NC Real Estate Commission and NCAR has been a great benefit to his students and colleagues.
Intracoastal Realty also shined bright at the 4th Quarter Meeting and Luncheon held in December 2011. Two of our Wilmington real estate agents received awards- congratulations to David Eggleston and Deb Hays. These are exceptional achievements by very deserving colleagues.
David Eggleston, Jr- Cathy Clark Memorial Award
This award is an annual scholarship in the amount of $200 that may be used toward any designation or broker courses and/or technology training. An agent from Intracoastal has won this award for the past 3 years! Ashley Garner in 2009 and Kasey Valente in 2010.
Deb Hays- Paul Sullins’ Community Service Award
Started in 2009, this award is given to a REALTOR® who deserves recognition due to their contributions to the betterment of their communities through outstanding public service. An agent from Intracoastal has won this award for the past 3 years! Melisa Gallison in 2009 and Jimmy Hopkins in 2010.
