  • Born in Hanover, New Hampshire.
  • Has an identical “mirror” twin.
  • Grew up going deep-sea fishing with my father off the coast of Ocean City, Maryland and caught my first white marlin at the age of 12.
  • Played rugby football in college and beyond, then went on to referee in that sport. I have since hung up my cleats and replaced them with a tennis racket.
  • Sailed across the Atlantic aboard the Queen Elizabeth 2 and studied at the University of London and Richmond College.
  • Once worked for Bob Zappa, Frank’s Zappa’s brother, in New York City in the publishing industry where I wrote marketing material for engineering textbooks.
  • Lived in the west and have traveled through most of the United States except for 12.
  • Attended graduate school at NC State University where I taught all about land grading and drainage.
  • Has a background in college publishing sales, but gave it all up to become a landscape architect who did the original landscape design for the first phase of Lumina Station.
  • Married to a local architect who specializes in high end residential.
  • Jim Wallace once interviewed me for a job and didn’t hire me! He hired another landscape architect instead. But, I’m working for him now.
