Welcome to Intracoastal: Hailey Knecht

Please join us in welcoming Hailey Knecht to our Intracoastal Realty office in Oak Island, NC. Welcome to Intracoastal, Hailey!

My name is Hailey Knecht (pronounced like ‘connect’), I am originally from Washington State and have lived in North Carolina off and on for the last ten years. After graduating from the University of Washington, I fell in love with this area and enjoy sharing my enthusiasm with clients.

The Coastal Carolinian lifestyle has so much to offer; My best days are finding my clients their dream home in an area ideally suited to their needs. Whether you like golf, boating, beach lounging or enjoying the comforts of your own back porch on a lazy Sunday afternoon, Oak Island has it waiting for you.

I believe in working smarter AND harder and that form and function should never be mutually exclusive concepts. I am an advocate of energy efficiency and have been working closely with several local, sustainable builders to keep clients abreast of new housing technologies. I recently earned my Green Designation from the NAR and am excited to point clients in the right direction to save money on utility bills.

A few that have said it better than I ever could:

“Ninety percent of all millionaires become so through owning real estate.”
Andrew Carnegie

“A man complained that [on] his way home to dinner he had every day to pass through that long field of his neighbor’s. I advised him to buy it, and it would never seem long again.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson

“Real estate cannot be lost or stolen, nor can it be carried away. Purchased with common sense, paid for in full, and managed with reasonable care, it is about the safest investment in the world.”
-Franklin D. Roosevelt (1882-1945)
