United State Police Canine Association – The Carolina Beach and Kure Beach Police Department K-9 Units have the honor of hosting the Region 2 Police Dog Field Trials. This is the first time the Trials are being held in Carolina Beach and is a weeklong event expected to bring up to 50 K-9 teams to Pleasure Island. On October 29th at 8:00 drop by Mike Chappell Park in Carolina Beach to observe the Obedience and Agility portion of the trials.
