Katherine (or Kathy to her family and friends) is the true epitome of what it means to be a "NORTH CAROLINA GAL." She grew up with one foot in Raleigh, the other foot in the farm community of Newton Grove, and her toes in the beautiful waters of Topsail and Wrightsville Beach. Kathy embodies the perfect mesh of these three distinct lifestyles and loves to share the pleasures and diversities with her clients.
Kathy's passion and knowledge enable her to provide the specific expertise needed, no matter the reason for buying or selling in the North Carolina Coastal Region. As a Raleigh native and the beloved daughter within a prominent builder/real estate family, Kathy has the deep roots and the background needed to help clients find "THE PERFECT HOME."
A diligent agent, Kathy, will always work on your behalf to protect and promote your best interest throughout the buying and selling process.
RALEIGH: During her college years at NC State University, Kathy met her "Surfer-Boy" husband Jeff, who grew up in the Wrightsville Beach and Wilmington area. After marriage, Kathy spent the next twenty years, putting her accounting and management skills to good use. She helped her husband run a family retail business in the Raleigh area while also building and renovating six beautiful custom homes.
Kathy's knowledge and success in an array of real estate ventures have instilled impeccable customer service skills, which Kathy feels is of utmost importance since no two people or homes are ever the same. She listens carefully to her client's needs and desires – then works nonstop to make the "DREAM HOME" happen.
WILMINGTON: The Salt Life kept calling, and eventually, Kathy and her husband moved their dogs, a show horse, and teenager back to her husband's coastal hometown. Kathy immediately became involved in her daughter's school, where she served for two years as treasurer of the Lyceum parent board at New Hanover High School.
Coupling her management and accounting skills with top-notch customer service has allowed Kathy to transition seamlessly from the accounting and retail world to real estate. In her spare time, Kathy can usually be found gardening or working with many in and outdoor plants. She and her husband Jeff also spend a lot of time with their saltwater aquarium hobby and boating on the Intracoastal waterway.
Kathy loves exploring the barrier islands, shell hunting, or pulling into the many restaurants that have boat access in the different beach communities. She also enjoys traveling to the North Carolina Mountains to see their daughter, who decided to further her education at Western Carolina University after graduation from UNC-Wilmington.
Kathy loves being a Realtor and truly values each customer. She always strives to create relationships that go beyond the closed transaction. From start to finish, she will do everything possible to make sure you have the best real estate experience possible.
If the Salt Life is calling you, as it did Kathy many years ago, please give her a call. It's a pleasure to assist you in making your real estate dreams come true!
