Katelyn Ivey was born and raised on the beautiful coast of southeastern North Carolina and is a local of Brunswick County. Being a local she has great insights on the area and what it has to offer. She predominately grew up in Oak Island where her mother owns a sports bar, named Chasers. Katelyn attended Johnson and Wales University where she earned a culinary degree. After graduating from college, she moved to Florida and worked at Disney World in Orlando as a sous chef for Cinderella's Royal Table. She has spent the past nine years working in the hospitality industry as both a sous chef and pastry chef in some of the local favorite restaurant spots from Southport to Wilmington.
