Eileen Stefan - Intracoastal Realty

About Eileen

With a background in sales, Eileen comes to the real estate industry having sold life and health insurance along with investment products with MetLife Financial Services and Mass Mutual Life Insurance Company. Born in Philadelphia and raised in South Jersey, Eileen spent her summers going to the Jersey Shore at her grandparent’s home on the bay. Summers were filled with swimming, boating, water skiing, riding the waves, lots of Coppertone, the boardwalk and cotton candy. While on vacation, the family would take day trips to nearby Cape May, a beautiful seaside community filled with gorgeous Victorian homes. That is when her love of historic homes began!

After raising her four children, one day, while selling a Victorian home she restored, a REALTOR showing the property asked her if she was an interior decorator.  When Eileen said no, she said well, you should be and asked her to begin staging her listings.  From there Eileen was referred to other REALTORS and suddenly she was staging some of the most beautiful homes in historic Haddonfield, NJ.

While she enjoyed decorating them, she thought why not sell them too!  So in 2010 she decided to get her real estate license and work in Cape May, combining her love of homes and living on the coast.  Having lived in Las Vegas previously where she studied psychology and theater at University of Nevada Las Vegas, she enjoyed exploring the west, but realized she was definitely an east coast girl at heart and returned to New Jersey.

When her eldest daughter married in 2007 and moved to Wilmington, Eileen began exploring the beautiful state of North Carolina and Wilmington and fell in love with all it has to offer. From the riverfront and downtown historic homes to the beautiful beaches along its coast, Wilmington is a perfect fit for her and now with two daughters and two of her granddaughters living here, it was time to make the move.

As a former competitive swimmer, Eileen still enjoys swimming and riding those ocean waves along with bike riding, taking long walks at Hugh MacRae Park, working with the children’s choir at church, ballroom dancing, theater and most importantly spending time with her children and three beautiful granddaughters.

When asked what she loves about selling real estate the most, ”It’s the people you meet, the friends you make and the look of joy on their faces when you help find the perfect home for them.”

Eileen promises to always listen to your needs, be available for all your questions and get back to you in a timely fashion.
