Betty Potter - Intracoastal Realty

About Betty

Growing up in Greensboro, NC, Betty attended Randolph Macon Woman’s College in Lynchburg, Va. where she received a BA in English.  From there she attended UNC Greensboro earning a Masters of ED in English. Upon earning her master’s degree she taught English in Virginia Beach, Va.  Her next move was to Los Angeles, followed by a move to Alexandria, Va., where she stayed for 35 years.

Betty’s career in real estate began twenty-seven years ago in northern Virginia as an agent with McEnearney Associates in Old Town Alexandria.

She and her husband moved to Wilmington in 2013 and have never looked back!  They fell in love with Wilmington and its close proximity to Wrightsville Beach.  “Wilmington is my new home and my husband and I are delighted to be here “says Betty.  They love tennis, golf, the beach and boating.

She found, however, she missed the excitement of real estate and is thrilled to return to the job she enjoyed for so long. As an agent, she found her greatest strengths are the ability to listen to clients, being available and providing attention to details. She worked with a diverse group of clients:  professionals, new home buyers, investors as well as representing builders in new homes sales.

Full service is her strength:  finding the right home as well as guiding my clients through the myriad steps of the purchasing process:  contract negotiations, obtaining financing, home inspections, etc.  Her efforts earned her the distinction of “lifetime Multi- Million Dollar Agent.”

Betty stands ready to assist with your real estate needs. Let her diverse career in real estate and knowledge of the area work for you.
