Kathy Foster - Intracoastal Realty

About Kathy

Kathy spent her formative years in Tennessee and attended college at Marymount College of Virginia with additional study in France and Switzerland. She settled in Northern Virginia, married and raised a lovely daughter while pursuing freelance writing and photography. She joined Amendment One Inc. in Loudoun County, Virginia as account executive and rose to Marketing Director while the company added a monthly Loudoun Business and quarterly Loudoun Magazine.

In 2004, Kathy felt a need to step back from corporate life. She looked for a community on the water and found Wilmington with its gardens, people, cultural offerings and welcoming climate. She bought a home in the Historic District and pursued her love of sailing, delivering new Beneteau yachts from the east coast to the Caribbean when she wasn't sailing her own boat with her daughter and friends.

In 2006, after her daughter graduated college, she decided not to seek the far-off horizon and to stay home. She acquired her real estate license and began a new career. Kathy always loved helping people reach their goals and her empathic nature served her well. Beginning her real estate career during a financial recession taught her success is possible in any climate with proper dedication and knowledge of her market. Kathy loves history and has absorbed the lore of the Cape Fear. She loves giving her clients a sense of place both historically and in the present.

Kathy has been a multimillion-dollar producer over the last several years and was recognized as Top Producer in 2016. From the river to the sea, whether you're buying or selling, Kathy welcomes the opportunity to help fulfill your needs.
