Beach2Battleship Full and Half Iron Distance Event

Intracoastal Realty is a proud sponsor of Set Up Event’s Beach2Battleship Full Iron Triathlon Distance Event, slated for November 1, 2008, taking place in the Wilmington, NC region. A half iron distance race will also take place simultaneously. Both events will fall under the name Beach2Battleship, a name that derives directly from the unique course the triathletes will take, as well as, the world class tourist experience and amenities available to competitors, their families and friends.

"The Wilmington, NC region is a destination that people from around the world enjoy," said Jeremey Davis, Beach to Battleship Race Director. "Our triathletes will start from Wrightsville Beach, NC for a point to point swim in the channel so they will not have to deal with the unpredictability of an ocean swim. Beach2Battleship finishes at the USS North Carolina Battleship Memorial, a historic tourist destination which we feel symbolizes the strength and character that it will take to compete and complete the event."
