American Heart Association

Intracoastal Realty has been a long time supporter of the American Heart Association. Every year Intracoastal Realty has team of staff and agents that volunteer for several of the American Heart Association’s fundraising events. The Cape Fear Heart Ball which takes place in February of each year is the Black Tie event of the season. The 2007 gala event themed “The Heart Is Worth Saving” raised over $100,000 dollars for life saving programs. Intracoastal Realty also has a team, organized by leader Kristie Holbrook, in the annual Cape Fear Heart Walk. The Intracoastal Team placed second in corporate fundraising for 2007 with over $7,000 raised in donation funds. More than 600 walkers alone raised almost $90,000 in an important step to fighting heart disease. The Heart Walk 2008 is scheduled for October 18th, at the Wrightsville Beach Nesbitt Loop.
