Located just eight miles east of
Wilmington,
North
Carolina, is the beach community of Wrightsville Beach.
This coastal town consists of a series of barrier
islands, a main interior island called Harbor Island and
a four-mile-long stretch of white, sandy beach
recognized as Wrightsville Beach. Other than its
beautiful location, Wrightsville Beach is known for its
large Southern-style beach homes. This area is
considered to be a prestigious, upper-class community.
Some great area activities include boating, sailing,
diving, fishing, surfing, kayaking and biking.
The commute from Wrightsville Beach to Wilmington is about 10 minutes. The island is only accessible by one large green drawbridge, which rises periodically throughout the day. Wrightsville Beach can always be reached by boat. During the summer months the population of travelers explodes on the island and the roads can be crowded but for the majority of the year the town is quite tranquil.
Amongst than the gorgeous beachfront property,
subdivisions in Wrightsville Beach include: Duneridge
Estates, Channel Acres, Shore Acres, Shell Island
Village, Cordgrass Estates, North Shore, and Lees Cut.
