With over fifteen years experience in real estate and finance, in addition to living on the coast from the Carolinas to Florida, I enjoy helping my clients discover the lifestyle they truly want.

I grew up in Southern Pines, North Carolina, and studied business at Sandhills College and later in Raleigh at Meredith College.    Summers were spent at my grandmother’s beach house at North Myrtle Beach (Crescent Beach and Ocean Drive).     After marrying a high school sweetheart, we moved to Florida.

When my husband finished college in Daytona Beach, we moved to St. Simons Island, Georgia, and I began a career in banking.   Once my sons, Frank and Matt, were in middle school, a friend suggested I sell real estate with her at Parker-Kaufman Realtors.   That developed into many rewarding years selling in a golf course community, across the bridge from Sea Island.

In 1994, I moved to Raleigh and began selling homes for Fonville Morrisey Realty.     When an opportunity to work with Capital Bank as a Mortgage Consultant presented itself, I decided the time was right for me to return to finance.    Although it too, was a wonderful career for many years, I wanted to get back to the coast and do what I enjoy most.  So, in 2004, I happily moved to Wilmington and was fortunate enough to work with Intracoastal Realty. 

Years in lending and real estate have taught me the importance of due diligence.    I know what my buyers and sellers need, to get through the process smoothly, and who they should consult with to get closed and moved on time.   Being a member of Vance Young’s team, www.vanceyoung.com., is an important advantage to my buyers and sellers.   With the resources and the knowledge of Wilmington, Landfall, and Wrightsville Beach, my clients will experience the exceptional.

In my free time, I enjoy my friends and family, playing USTA team tennis, working out and walking my dog on the infamous “Loop”!
