Mystery Agent 1/10/12

Each week at our sales meeting we have a “Mystery Agent.” This gives us a chance to learn more about one of our colleagues that we may not have known otherwise.   Born in Pasadena, CA. Received “Volunteer of the Year” award from local chamber of commerce. Has been in the Real Estate business for 26 years. Before becoming an Agent, sold Foster Grant sunglasses, Nestles chocolates, and owned a catering business. Lives in a house in Wrightsville Beach that has been in the family for over 50 years. Is a member of the Wrightsville Beach Methodist Church. Was “Little Miss 4th of July” at age 5. Was a majorette who twirled a baton of fire in high school. Proud Mother of 2 and Grandmother of 2. Each week at our sales meeting we have a “Mystery Agent.” This gives us a chance to learn more about one of our colleagues that we may not have known otherwise. Born in Raleigh and grew up in Nash County. Father was a cotton ginner. Took swimming lessons in the lagoon at Wrightsville Beach. First job was “handing” tobacco at age 15 for 15 cents an hour. Graduated from two ACC schools, UNC Chapel Hill and Wake Law. Waited tables and tended bar through law school. On staff of Governor’s Committee on Law and Order. Helped owner start A Southern Season in Chapel Hill and was first employee. Deputy Legal Counsel to Gov. Jim Hunt (handled matters of executive clemency which involved staffing the Governor’s Mansion with inmates). Was on the legal staff of NC Department of Insurrance. Started real esta... [More]

  Each week at our sales meeting we have a “Mystery Agent.” This gives us a chance to learn more about one of our colleagues that we may not have known otherwise.   Born in Wilmington. Skipped the first grade. Senior Class Secretary at New Hanover High School. Rode on a float in the Azalea Festival parade. Studied piano for 11 years and into college. Earned a private pilot’s license for single engine planes and has piloted or co-piloted between Maine and Grenada.  Landed shortly after the communist invasion. Has flown in small planes, float planes, helicopters, small jets and jumbos. Has enjoyed sailing, windsurfing, trick waterskiing, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, and flying. Annual traditions include candlelight home tours, elaborate light displays, Colonial & Victorian celebrations, holiday flotillas, parades, cruises, and fireworks!!
