Short Sales and Foreclosure Certification

Dan Willard of Intracoastal Realty recently earned the nationally recognized Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) certification. The SFR curriculum and standards are governed by the National Association of REALTORS®.  Agents with the SFR certification have an understanding of how to direct distressed sellers to finance, tax, and legal professionals; qualify sellers for short sales; negotiate with lenders; limit risk; and protect buyers.  National Association of REALTORS recently reported that nearly one-third of existing home sales were either short sales or foreclosures.
